Since the death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, at the hands of a Minneapolis Police officer, protests have taken place across many cities in the U.S. Although there has been an incentive from the media to insist on the violence and looting during these unrests, most of the demonstrations have remained peaceful with people simply asking to be treated with respect, fairness and equality. This collection of photographs depicts moments recorded in Los Angeles County in May and June 2020.
This collection of photographs aims to bring awareness to the ever-growing homelessness crisis in the United States as well as in other countries.
